How I started helping…
I feel your pain.
I feel it from a place that’s close to home because it was one of the biggest motivators for me to become a chiropractor. I’ll tell you more about that in a moment.
Pain and discomfort are an unfortunate entity and chances are you’re reading this because you’re probably feeling one of them.
I treat people like you every day, for those pains and discomforts. They’re the problems you get which don’t stop you from living your everyday life, but are starting to limit you from doing whatever you want. The problems that cause the pesky thought in the back of your head saying “Is this going to cause my pain to come back or get worse.”
At the end of the day it all comes down to what your goal is and what you want. Do you want to:
- Get rid of your pain
- Improve your posture
- Go back to playing with your children without worrying about that pain flaring up
- Do you want to move better and feel better?
It’s all up to you. I’m here to help.
My mum went through the first 30 years of her life without a problem. The last 20 years have been a much bigger issue. Mum is a pharmacist; her job requires her to spend the day alternating between long periods of sitting to long periods of standing.
As a child I remember her coming home at the end of every day with a different problem. Lower back pain one day, neck pain the next and headaches in between. She felt helpless because she didn’t know what to do about it.
Aches and pains can give you that feeling of helplessness because they’re always just around the corner. She always wanted to do something about it but never had the time, which is why it got worse as the years went by.
I’m there to get rid of those problems and hopefully keep them away for as long as possible.
My mum was the first of many that I’ve helped. Her pain took her to a stage where she was too scared to:
- Sit at work
- Go the gym
- Even go for a walk
All this without the worry of her back flaring up. I could see her struggle as the pain got worse, especially in her neck. It really was the motivating factor that got me into chiropractic and I’ve never looked back.
My name is Dr Mark El-Hayek. I’m a chiropractor and owner of Spine and Posture Care graduating from Macquarie University with a Masters of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Medical Science majoring in human anatomy, physiology and neurobiology.
If you, like my mum, have that nagging neck pain, lower back pain or problem anywhere in your spine, I know what you’re going through and I’m here to help when you’re ready.
