Your Chiropractors at Spine and Posture Care

Spine and Posture Care has been serving patients near Sydney CBD since 2013, founded on a straightforward principle: pain that keeps returning has an underlying cause that must be identified and corrected. The clinic moves beyond temporary symptom management to address the structural and postural factors driving spinal dysfunction. I can't thank Mark enough for his help. I've been to chiropractors and physiotherapists all over Sydney and have never had this much pain relief. Mark was able to stop my sciatica within a few weeks and it hasn't come back! This is the best I've felt in years. Thank you so much

With the recent lockdown and working from home, I’ve seen that my posture has been getting noticeably worse. Dr Cameron and the team at Spine and Posture Care really take their time to explain why and how bad posture starts in the first place. With my current treatment plan, I feel like I’m able to sit and stand taller for longer periods of time and it’s been so rewarding! The team at Spine and Posture Care are second to none and will work with you to achieve your goals!

12 hour days, staring at multiple screens spells disaster for someone with inherent shoulder, back pain and terrible posture. I've received treatment from various chiros, it's mainly been very good so definitely seek chiro if you have these issues. I first started treatments with Mark in 2016, then Cameron at the peak of my bad posture and back pain during long wfh pandemic hours. The difference with the Spine and Posture Care team is the level of comfort you're provided with each session, especially with pain management. I detest the infamous cracks from chiros, so I was grateful when Mark and Cameron sourced treatment avoiding neck and back cracks while still targeting the cause. You don't get a blanket treatment with this team, their dedication to each patient is clear during every session. People who have had steady chiro sessions will know the immense satisfaction of seeing their scans go from lighting up like a Christmas tree to more white and hugely improved numbers. 10 mins a day on your lunchbreak, a couple times a week will do wonders. Don't put it off and give this team a call.

Frequently Asked Questions

A chiropractor assesses the lumbar spine to determine the severity and location of the disc bulge, then applies gentle spinal mobilisation and decompressive techniques to reduce pressure on the affected disc and surrounding nerve roots. Progressive stabilisation exercises are prescribed to strengthen the supporting musculature and prevent further disc displacement.

Cervical disc bulges require careful clinical assessment before treatment. A chiropractor uses low-force cervical mobilisation, traction-based techniques, and targeted postural correction to reduce disc compression on the cervical nerve roots. The treatment approach is always adapted to the specific level and severity of the disc pathology.

A chiropractor is trained to perform a comprehensive neuromuscular examination, including straight leg raise testing, dermatomal assessment, and reflex evaluation to identify sciatic nerve involvement. Once diagnosed, the underlying cause,  disc herniation, piriformis syndrome, or foraminal stenosis, is identified and treated with appropriate clinical methods.

The frequency of visits depends on the severity and chronicity of your migraines. Initial treatment often involves 2 to 3 sessions per week, gradually reducing as your cervical spine alignment improves and headache frequency decreases. Your chiropractor at Spine and Posture Care will develop a structured visit schedule based on your clinical response.

Chiropractic care is recognised as a safe, non-invasive treatment for musculoskeletal conditions when performed by a registered practitioner. Our chiropractors conduct thorough pre-treatment assessments to identify any contraindications and modify techniques accordingly. All practitioners at Spine and Posture Care maintain current AHPRA registration and adhere to strict clinical safety protocols.

Your initial visit at Spine and Posture Care includes a detailed health history review, comprehensive spinal examination, postural assessment, and neurological screening. Based on these findings, your chiropractor explains the diagnosis, outlines a recommended treatment plan, and where clinically appropriate begins your first treatment during the same session.
